FIABCI, the world’s leading organisation for real estate professionals

Since its foundation in 1948, FIABCI, an international real-estate organisation, has grown to become a platform that encompasses a wide range of real-estate-related disciplines. The following are some of the professional groups represented: brokers, property managers, appraisers, valuators, real estate advisors, project developers, contractors, architects, tax advisors, financiers, lawyers, notaries, accountants, legal experts, practising or in training, and also educational institutions.

The federation’s international head office is in Paris and there is a so-called ‘chapter in each affiliated country too. Each of these chapters has its own identity and operates quite independently of the head office With members in 65 countries, including 100 professional associations, 65 educational institutions and 3,000 individual members from all of the professional groups in the real estate industry, FIABCI is the best representative of the global real-estate industry and has a special advisory role in the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
